Sky blue sky sapphire
Astronomy is the epitome of high-end horology in the 21st century and a symbol of global recognition for Jacob&Co watchmaking expertise. Astronomy ranks first in the world in terms of its unprecedented conceptual courage and complete mechanical structure, not only surpassing impressive horological achievements, but also considered to be an outstanding multidisciplinary engineering achievement.Jacob & Co. ASTRONOMIA TOURBILLON watches
The sky of astronomy brings new complication of celestial inspiration to astronomy: star display, vertical month display, zodiac sign, day and night indicator, celestial panorama, orbital seconds indicator and Jacob-Cut® diamond moon have been added to completely change the iconic astronomy. Astronomia Sky is full of unparalleled watchmaking solutions, supplemented by excellent watchmaking technology, is a poetic and bizarre entity in the ultra-high-end watchmaking industry.
Astronomia Sky fully conforms to the original layout of the astronomer’s iconic movement structure: the entire four-arm assembly of the exclusive JCAM11 movement rotates. This is a truly unprecedented engineering and watchmaking achievement that is breathtaking and full of challenge. Its four rotating arms and the complicated functions carried by it all float in the space between the front sapphire crystal and the blue titanium astronomical dial.
The four arms of the Astronomical Sky are equipped with a triple gravity tourbillon, which is the timekeeping mechanism of the watch, with its orbit, dual axis, vertical second hand, exclusive Jacob-Cut® 1 carat diamond and differential time display. This four-arm assembly can complete the rotation around the center of the watch within 20 minutes. Another outstanding feature of Astronomical Sky is how each pair of opposed arms perfectly calculates each other's counterweight-a testament to the unparalleled material engineering and watch movement design. By applying equal weight to these opposing arms, when the movement occupies different spatial directions, its axis can relieve stress and increase tension.
The tourbillon was originally invented as a single-axis rotating cage that can carry the adjustment mechanism of a mechanical pocket replica watches for sale, thereby improving timekeeping performance. The chronometer brings this 224-year-old invention into a breathtaking modern sophistication and complexity Sexual level.
The three-axis tourbillon in the sky of the observatory is at the forefront of ultra-high-end watchmaking. The beautifully decorated envelope encapsulates the balance wheel, hairspring, escape wheel and many other vital components. This hollow tourbillon is characterized by a hollow cage that rotates on three axes at the same time. This is a set of superb finished products, after professional assembly and fine-tuning, can make JCAM11 maintain accurate time in the entire power reserve of 60 hours.
To pay tribute to the traditional single-axis tourbillon, it takes 60 seconds for the first axis to fully rotate. The second axis of rotation takes 5 minutes to complete, and the 20th four-arm rotating observatory makes the third axis possible. When designing with cutting-edge, ultra-modern technology and timeless watch traditions, this gives a bold new look to how the tourbillon functions.
In the center of the movement, the hand-engraved titanium lacquered spherical dial automatically rotates within 24 hours, displaying day and night in a colored hemispherical sapphire crystal.
The sky of astronomy brings the extremely unique astronomical complexity into the extremely complex world of astronomy. Except that the day and night display can be used as the shield of the earth in the center of the dial, these functions are all realized on the astronomical dial, which is distributed behind the four rotating arms.
The intoxicating blue and gold hues allow you to enjoy the panoramic view of the sky brought by the zodiac: this exquisitely patterned dial can be fully rotated in a stellar year. The periphery of this sign is twelve months, which has become a month, showing unprecedented elegance and complexity. The elliptical sky indicator is located above the blue astronomical clock: the elliptical movement outline shows the part of the star visible from the northern hemisphere at any given time.luxury replica watches
The Jacob-Cut sapphire was originally a larger rough sapphire. First, a rough sapphire that is large enough must be found, and must have the highest purity, clarity and color both inside and outside, and there must be no inclusions. If the gem cutter starts to cut the sapphire and finds inclusions, the entire part will be destroyed.
Next, the sapphire is machine-cut into a circle with a size close to the final sapphire.
Then, the gem cutter shapes the gemstone by hand, cutting out each individual face (288 pieces). This must be done slowly and carefully, because the stone must be perfectly round and symmetrical. The danger is that the stone will become rectangular instead of round. To be used in an astronomical collection, the sapphires cut by Jacob must be completely round and weigh exactly the same as the other three satellites (time display, three-axis tourbillon, and magnesium globe).
In this process, if the gem cutter applies slightly too much pressure when adding facets, too much sapphire will be cut, and the final ball diameter will be smaller than the required diameter. The cutting process requires at least two weeks of hard work.
To make the final one-carat 288-faceted Jacob's cut sapphire, more than half of the original rough sapphire will be cut.
The complexity of hand-cutting 288 facets and ensuring that all objects are symmetrical and that the sapphires are absolutely rounded makes the Jacob & Co. sapphires used in the astronomy collection so special.
Astronomia Sky's case has a diameter of 47 mm and a thickness of 25 mm, between the highest point of its specially curved front sapphire crystal and the lowest point of the case. Its 18K rose gold case is equipped with a sapphire crystal glass window on its periphery, allowing you to observe the spectacular movement inside. The hollow lugs further assist people's attention to the universe living in the astronomical sky-this tiny but important detail brings people's attention to the center of the clock.
The time display sub-dial of the chronometer is driven by an infinite differential system. Even if the movement’s four-arm platform executes its continuous 20-minute track, it can always be level and therefore clear and easy to read. The Roman numerals on the hollow dial are hand-engraved and painted with black varnish, while the hand-made hands are dark blue metallic.
In the past, setting up an astronomical watch was very laborious and often involved the schedule of the watchmaker to set it correctly. To make things easier, Jacob & Co. has created a simple and clever solution for the time setting of this complicated watch. The company created a simple application for smartphones that determines your location in the world and then guides you to set up your watch. The back of the astronomical watch is equipped with two liftable bows and two grooved wheels, allowing users to easily set the time. One bow is used to set the time and day/night indicator (both are based on 24 hours of solar time), while the other bow is used to wind the mechanical movement. One wheel is used to set the sidereal time and the other wheel is used to set the oval sky indicator-the app will guide you through the setting process.https://www.chronosale.co
