Some of the most iconic watches are unparalleled, and this is undoubtedly the case with Jacob & Co's Astronomia. It was launched in 2014, but soon became one of the iconic models of the brand. The key element of each Astronomia is the flying tourbillon. To create this movement, Jacob & Co collaborated with watch design company Studio 7h38. This is not the only watch they have created in collaboration with them, the SF24 movement is also made by them.
One unique feature of Astronomia is that it does not have a crown. Instead, it has two keys on the back of the watch with recessed hinge tabs. One is used to wind the watch and the other is used to set the time. Although the original Astronomia had a diameter of up to 50 mm, later versions provided a smaller diameter.
