B&R's luxury sports watch jumps into trend with a Streamline makeover.
Bell & Ross, long associated with aviation and military instrumentation watches, entered the luxury sports watch market in 2019 with its BR 05 collection. The brand's signature "square-in-circle" design accompanies the BR 05's transition to becoming an "urban instrument," but with soft angles, a one-piece bracelet and an unavoidable 1970s halo. Inspired by the modern streamlines of the 1930s, the latest BR 05 Artline style features vertical grooves that extend from the bezel down to the central link of the bracelet. Sleeker and more luxurious than its BR05 counterparts, the BR 05 Artline also flaunts a new dial colour.

The design of the BR 05 Artline is inspired by the American Streamline Moderne period of the 1930s. Often referred to as "Art Deco on the move," it celebrates the modern age of machines and a newfound passion for speed. Featuring stylish aerodynamic lines, Streamline touches every aspect of life, from clocks to refrigerators, from diners to cars, buses and buildings. Velocity lines and grilles were used to create streamlined silhouettes, and industrially produced materials like aluminium found their way in architecture. The stainless steel case of the BR 05 is 40mm in diameter and 10.50mm thick and features a series of reliefs or gdroons (like those on JLC's Reverso). Aligned horizontally on the bezel and the central links of the one-piece bracelet, vertical gdroons or speed lines make the watch more streamlined by drawing the eye down. The four signature screws that secure the bezel to the case remain, as well as the satin-brushed finish and polished bevel. The screw-in crown is protected, ensuring the case is water-resistant to 100m. The central links of the stainless steel bracelet also flow in uninterrupted lines from the case and feature vertical grooves.
Ruthenium Grey Dial
A first for the BR 05 collection, the dial features a new sunburst ruthenium grey colour obtained by metallisation. The applied baton indexes and hands are treated with Super-LumiNova, and there is a date aperture at 3 o’clock. The look is also cleaner than the classic model, with applied numbers.

The movement that powers the BR 05 Artline perfect replica watches is the BR-CAL.321, which is based on the proven Sellita SW-300 architecture and individual finishes. The bridges are sandblasted in dark grey, and the oscillating weight is hollowed out to look like a sports car rim. The automatic movement with a frequency of 4 Hz and a power reserve of 42 hours can be seen through the case back.
