De Bethune Launches Two New DB28xs Watches Ahead of the 2025 Geneva Watch Fair
Both the DB28xs Kind of Blue Tourbillon and DB25xs Starry Varius feature smaller, more compact case sizes
Ahead of this year's Geneva Watch Days, De Bethune unveiled two compact reinterpretations of its flagship models: the DB28xs Kind of Blue Tourbillon and the DB25Vxs Starry Varius.

The new DB25Vxs Starry Varius features a refined 40.6mm case, available in mirror-polished titanium or the warmth of 18K rose gold. The dial evokes a poetic night sky, with a new Milky Way pattern in volcanic-colored alloy dancing against a starry backdrop. The movement, powered by the manually wound DB2005 caliber, is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback and incorporates the latest De Bethune technologies, including a flat terminal-curved balance spring, a silicon escapement, and a balance wheel crafted from titanium and white gold.
The DB28xs Kind of Blue Tourbillon features its acclaimed ultra-light flying tourbillon, reinterpreted for the first time in a compact 38.7mm XS case. The bridges, balance wheel, and dial are finished in the brand's signature "Cosmic" blue, achieved through a meticulous thermal oxidation process. Each grade 5 titanium component is heat-treated to a rich blue hue and alternately polished, satin-brushed, and micro-blasted to highlight the watch's sculpted structure.
This "Kind of Blue" watch is powered by the DB2009v5 mechanical movement, equipped with a 30-second flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock, a five-day power reserve, and a 22K gold winding micro-rotor.
