NEW Replica HYT T1 collection

HYT launches new T1 collection, minimalist yet basic

HYT has always been a brand of oversized quality swiss replica watches, often with exaggerated designs. After their first launch in 2012, they have had a bumpy road, bumpier than most brands in those years. It’s all thanks to the brand’s commitment to telling time with liquid.

While it’s a very novel idea, and HYT has done a great job of implementing it, the technology requires quite a bit of space, which means you can’t make a smaller watch.

It’s a bit like form follows technology, but HYT has always used it to its advantage, highlighting the unique aspects of mechanical fluid time displays, or adding complications in a very visually striking way. Great watches always attract attention and are fun to write about, but you also need to sell them.

HYT has created a strong niche with its fluid technology, but the size of the watches naturally limits its potential customers: even those who want and can afford them may not buy them because they are too big for their wrists. cheapest patek philippe replica

Less of a good thing, more of a good thing
While HYT’s entire history may have been rocky, there were always people who believed in it and kept tweaking their products to make the most of the market. It’s a bit like Aston Martin, which struggled for most of its history but also produced some cool cars.

HYT once again had their finger on the pulse of the market and decided to do both. With the Conical Tourbillon and Moon Runner, they continue to create oversized, highly complicated, iconic pieces that are, for lack of a better word, almost dizzying but also addictive.

Now, the T1 series is in the exact opposite situation, being just as plain as the previous HYT, but smaller in size.

Colors, colors, colors
HYT has been very high on the T1, as they’ve released four different versions. Three of them are in titanium cases, and one is in yellow gold. jacob and co replica

All of the watches are the same size, 45.30mm in width and 46.30mm in length. That still sounds big, but the T1 has no lugs, which means the watch sits more like 43mm on the wrist.

Thickness is also manageable at 17.20mm. The lack of lugs allows the strap to conform to your wrist instantly, so it’s surprisingly comfortable to wear. To add to the T1’s versatility, HYT includes two straps as standard, which can be switched at the push of a button. Each strap comes with its own clasp, so there’s really no need for tools.

All the dials feature a sunray pattern, a single hand for the minutes, a fluid time system for the hours, and a small power reserve indicator off-center that looks interesting on the clean, balanced dials.

HYT has chosen the right color combination for each version. The salmon-colored dial gleams brightly in the titanium case and uses black fluid to display the hours. The silver-dial version is quite different, with a bright blue fluid as the center, much like the anthracite version.

The gold model has the most color combinations, but they all work well together. The 5N red gold case combines perfectly with the ocean blue dial, but also creates some contrast with the black liquid in the capillaries. Everything blends in perfectly. replicas watches for sale

HYT T1 as a platform
While the T1 is now just a chronograph with a power reserve indicator, it can also be seen as a platform with more features. The simple look and closed dial also opens up opportunities for the future, perhaps a calendar function or even a more traditional moon phase. This would expand the HYT world even more into the ordinary, but since it has a liquid time display, it will never be mediocre.

Clearly visible through the caseback, the bellows pumping the liquid through the capillaries is a sight that other brands can't offer, and HYT still has the advantage.

The movement inside the T1 is also a platform, as HYT didn't design a new movement. Caliber 501-CM also powers the Hastroid, but it looks completely different because it doesn't have a dial. This movement is a strong movement developed by a strong company: behind it is the TEC Group in collaboration with Eric Coudray. The legendary watchmaker is best known for his work developing complex multi-axis tourbillons for brands like Jaeger-LeCoultre, Purnell, and MB&F.

The 501-CM movement consists of 352 parts, all meticulously finished, and beats at 4 Hz/ 28,800 VpH. The power reserve is 72 hours, which is plenty, especially considering that the movement is not a traditional one and has to run a bellows. replica breitling Watches

As a watch journalist with a penchant for dress watches, HYT has always been a brand that I was interested in, but I never thought I’d own one. The T1 changes that.

While it’s still a solid watch, it’s not as wild on the wrist. The design language and overall size have been toned down, but HYT’s trump card – the smooth time display – remains. This remains a fascinating aspect of this watch, and in the T1, it’s most wearable.

Another aspect that appeals to me about the T1 more than its peers is that I expect this watch to last. While it’s still a bit unconventional, its configuration, execution and excellent colour combination have a more classic character, ensuring this HYT will hold your attention longer and will likely age more gracefully.
