Japanese designer and streetwear Hiroshi Fujiwara's latest creation is a reinterpretation of the iconic TAG Heuer Carrera
Tokyo, Japan - November 20, 2018: Fujiwara can only approach his latest collaboration in the way he approaches each project: the only goal with a unique vision and the things he likes to create.

Because both brands have a truly subversive avant-garde spirit, Fujiwara's footage and TAG Heuer teamed up to redesign Carrera.

After the initial meeting and in-depth study of the manufacturer's product archives, the designer learned about the history of TAG Heuer Carrera. The chronograph has a 55-year lead in the racing world, and its name comes from the week-long legendary Carrera Panamericana road race in Mexico in the 1950s. With its DNA competition, the first TAG Heuer Carrera chronograph was designed for drivers in 1963, and with its revolutionary design of the dial, it immediately gained international success. The ring that secures the dial to the case for the first time has an indispensable second scale, making the display larger and more legible.
