Richard Mille Introduces New RM 88 Smiley

For Richard Mille's watch team, any idea or design is taken into account when applying forward thinking to the brand's portfolio of masterpieces. In his latest adventure, Richard Mille has incorporated Frank Loufrani's drawing of The Smiley into his new limited edition edition. The new RM 88 smiley face with two oval eyes and a large upturned mouth on a yellow circle fuses a true pop culture icon with one of the most innovative watchmakers. The RM 88 is housed in a tonneau-shaped case made of ATZ white ceramic and 18k 5N red gold, and is sealed and water-resistant to 50 meters.
Showcasing its shared values of happiness and positiveness, Richard Mille replica designed the dial around the scene of happiness. The theme highlights eye-catching details such as golden smiley faces, rainbows, pineapples, cacti, flamingos, sunshine and beach drinks. The RM 88 Smiley is powered by Richard Mille's in-house CRMT7 skeleton automatic tourbillon movement with hour, minute and function indicators. The entire movement is visible from the sapphire caseback, which beautifully showcases a star-patterned balance wheel.
