The Freak S Only Watch is a unique iteration of the Freak S coming in 2022. To celebrate the anniversary of Only Watch, the Ulysse Nardin watchmaking and design studio has created a palette of colorful interpretations of the UN-251 movement based on the rainbow.

In keeping with the principles of the FREAK series, the micro-mechanical device in the Freak S is a carrousel mechanism without hands, dial and crown. The Freak S tells time by the rotation of its own movement. Both bridges rotate around their centers. They indicate hours and minutes respectively. Arrows show the hours, while the spacecraft's nose cone shows the minutes.

Whereas in a traditional tourbillon the balance wheel rotates within the frame once per minute, in the Freak S the entire movement (including its regulating mechanism) rotates once per hour on its own. The time on the Freak S high quality replica watches can be set by turning the bezel clockwise or counterclockwise.

The Freak S incorporates the following innovations: a double silicon oscillator and double escapement of DiamonSil, a vertical differential and a "Grinder" automatic winding system (twice as efficient as conventional winding systems).
