New: replica MB&F SP One watches
After 20 years of stunning watches, MB&F finally has an elegant 38mm watch. It’s not a classic, of course, but it’s a unique beauty. Introducing the MB&F SP One.
After many amazing sculptures that Max Büsser called “Horological Machines,” MB&F has launched a new collection called “Special Projects,” which is a classic watch. The basic description is even more classical than their (admittedly unconventional) “Legacy Machines” collection. But that’s the story.
The case is 38mm in diameter and round, which sounds classic enough. But it doesn’t have a bezel, it’s more of a ring, with two sapphire crystals on each side and the lugs welded in. You can see straight into the replica swiss watches, both inside and out. We don’t have wrist photos, but when the watch is worn, the skin on the wrist can be seen from the side of the dial. Interesting? Maybe not so obvious to those with hairy wrists.
But the watch looks great. The case is pebble-like and looks like it flows continuously from the watch mirror to the bracelet and then to the watch mirror on the other side. It must be pleasant to the touch.
Not only that, the movement looks as if it is floating in the case. It is best described by MB&F's slogan - three circles. One of the circles is located at 2 o'clock, which is the balance wheel; the other circle is located at 10 o'clock, which is the spring in the barrel, and the crown is directly connected to the barrel. The time display is at 6 o'clock, with hours and minutes on the dial. Very interesting. Flip the case over and you can clearly see the structure of the movement from the back. The Y-shaped baseplate supports the movement transmission system, making the three circles clearly visible on the other side. This Y-shaped baseplate is almost invisible from the dial side.replica Richard Mille Rafael Nadal
In addition to the watch series and Legacy Machines series, MB&F has also launched a series of shelved projects in the past two decades. These projects have been in the draft stage for many years, seemingly meaningless at the time, like unrealized flashes of inspiration. As MB&F’s 20th anniversary approaches, the team can’t help but reflect on the brand’s ethos. Any management book would sum it up as “doing it all wrong”: no business plan, no market research, just the courage to create the unexpected and break the rules. So why not take those dormant projects and create a new collection full of possibilities?
The first of a new series, Special Project One (aka SP One) sits between MB&F’s avant-garde Horological Machines and its more classic Legacy Machines. Originally codenamed “Three Circles,” SP One features a trinity of suspended elements – barrel, balance wheel and dial – that appear to float mysteriously in the centre of an amphitheatre, visible through a sapphire crystal dome: a mechanical marvel that stages a spellbinding, gravity-defying show on your wrist. replica luxury watches
The SP One features a 38mm pebbled case that combines a smooth feel with a bezel-less design and delicate, discrete lugs; the first sketches date back to 2018, with the goal of creating a watch that would be subtle and sophisticated, rather than overpowering. As MB&F's thinnest and smallest watch, it still upholds the brand's signature three-dimensional structure and boundary-pushing spirit.
The SP One in-house movement is carefully crafted around three key elements of a mechanical watch. The iconic balance wheel at 2 o'clock is as eye-catching as a flying saucer. The dial is tilted at a perfect angle, highlighting MB&F's rare bevel gear transmission technology in watchmaking, adding a subtle three-dimensional sense. The floating effect is further enhanced by the suspended single barrel, which is manually wound and has a power reserve of 72 hours. With sapphire crystals on both sides, these three elements of equal circumference seem to escape the pull of gravity, but it is the movement's exquisite architecture that truly creates the fascinating floating effect. The bridges disappear as if by magic, with most components cleverly hidden beneath three key elements, allowing their beauty to take centre stage. replica Audemars Piguet CODE 11.59
Surrounding the 191-part movement is a “theatre in the round”: the bevelled outer edge offers a glimpse of the movement’s intricacies. Turn the SP One over and you’ll discover the other side, revealing meticulous hand-finishing, polished bevels, inner angles, delicate chatons and hand-engravings, set against a backdrop of MB&F’s signature satin-finished, polished and micro-blasted surfaces – one of the few watchmakers today that continues the tradition of hand-finishing and artisanal craftsmanship.
