Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono Yellow Limited Edition
To celebrate Cancellara’s achievement, we’ve launched a watch based on the colors of the Tour de France.
As you may know, Tudor is now deeply involved in cycling, not only as one of the team’s sponsors, but actually as the team’s sole sponsor, and has partnered with cycling legend Fabian Cancellara to create the Tudor Pro Cycling Team. Tudor has launched a special edition Black Bay Chrono, exclusively for team members. Last year, on the occasion of the 2024 Giro d’Italia, Tudor launched its first commercially available cycling-themed watch, the Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono Cycling Edition, which we had the pleasure of testing for a few days while chasing Cancellara. Earlier this year, in anticipation of the 2025 Giro d’Italia, Tudor launched the limited edition Pelagos FXD Chrono Pink, inspired by the Maglia Rosa (pink jersey) given to the winner of the race. With the Tour de France just around the corner, we now have the Maillot Jaune-based Pelagos FXD Chrono Yellow.

This watch is a tribute to racing legend and team owner Fabian Cancellara. In 2016, he participated in the Tour de France for the first time, one of the most prestigious cycling events in the world. There, he led the race - or as cycling fans say, wore the maillot jaune (the yellow jersey awarded to the overall leader) - for a total of 29 days and won eight stages. In 2025, Cancellara will return to France, but this time he will return as team owner and his wrist will be shining yellow with the new Pelagos FXD Chrono Yellow watch. This limited edition watch will also be available to the public.
What has changed compared to the Pelagos FXD Chrono Cycling Edition and Pelagos FXD Chrono Pink? Objectively speaking, not much has changed. Here, the Pelagos FXD Chrono Yellow is just a colorful accent on the dial and the strap. Everything else is the same. So, a quick reminder that you should know that we are talking about a watch from the FXD series, which means it is equipped with fixed lugs. But here, it is not a dive watch, but a racing chronograph with a fixed bezel and a carbon fiber case. Not much different from the recent Black Bay Chrono Carbon 25. The 43mm diameter x 13.2mm thick case and its integrated lug modules are made of matte black carbon composite, making it light and strong. It is equipped with direct-action pushers (not screwed), topped with a sapphire crystal and a screwed back.
Compared to last month's pink version, the dial is exactly the same, except for the yellow decorations on the subdials and the tachymeter scale. That means: a matte black dial, a two-eye layout, a date at 6 o'clock, luminescent ceramic composite integrated hour markers, a snowflake hand and a special cycling tachymeter scale that wraps around the dial and is used to show the average speed that cyclists usually ride (usually lower than the minimum 60 km/h on most tachymeter scales). Under the caseback with a specific engraving and the watch's unique number is the caliber MT5813, which is derived from the Breitling B01 architecture and improved with a silicon balance spring and COSC chronometer certification. It runs at 4Hz and stores a 70-hour power reserve.
The Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono Yellow watch is paired with an integrated black technical fabric strap with matching metal hardware and a yellow stripe in the middle.
