Audemars Piguet Introduces Summer Colors to the Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph
Six new timepieces, available in 42mm and 37mm sizes (powered by the new in-house 6401 movement)
Over three decades since its debut in 1993, the Royal Oak Offshore remains a classic in the Royal Oak collection, perfectly suited for a vibrant summer lifestyle. Nicknamed "The Beast" from its inception, this timepiece challenged the established patterns of traditional haute horlogerie with its oversized dimensions, exposed rubber elements, and bold, powerful design… With summer approaching, Audemars Piguet proudly introduces two vibrant new Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph models, available in 42mm and 37mm sizes. All six new watches are powered by the latest generation of integrated chronograph movements: the 42mm models feature the 4404 movement, while the 37mm models are equipped with the newly introduced 6401 movement.

Three 42mm ROO models: First, three 42mm Royal Oak Offshore chronograph watches, all featuring the collection's signature "Mega Tapisserie" dial accented with striking turquoise, yellow, pink, and orange. The chronograph functions are also highlighted through harmonious color schemes. Each watch uses a single accent color for the chronograph hands, tachymeter scale, and start/stop pusher at 2 o'clock, creating a dynamic yet harmonious visual effect.
Currently, these watches are powered by Audemars Piguet's in-house Calibre 4404 integrated chronograph movement, launched in 2019 with the Code 11.59 collection. This modern movement combines a column wheel mechanism and a vertical clutch to ensure precise and smooth chronograph operation. It oscillates at 4 Hz and boasts a 70-hour power reserve. Two stainless steel case versions are available, one with a black dial and pink accents, and the other with a silver case and orange accents. The third model is crafted from titanium, featuring a dark grey dial with yellow and turquoise details. All three watches come with interchangeable calfskin straps with colorful stitching.

Three 37mm ROO Models: These three 37mm watches, with their more compact diameter, infuse the timepiece with a vibrant summer feel. Paired with rubber straps, they retain the iconic features of the Royal Oak Offshore collection while offering a dial proportion suitable for a wider range of wrist sizes. These watches all feature Audemars Piguet's latest integrated chronograph movement. The new Calibre 6401, released earlier this year, operates at 4 Hz and boasts a 55-hour power reserve.
This movement is designed for smaller cases, measuring 27 mm in diameter and 5.7 mm thick, compared to the 32 mm diameter of the Calibre 4404. This isn't the first 37 mm Offshore chronograph; we previously released a version featuring the Calibre AP 2385 (derived from the Frédéric Piguet 1185), but given the current trend towards smaller watches, the use of an in-house movement is to be expected.
The first two watches are crafted from titanium, featuring either a turquoise checkered dial and a simple bezel, or a pink dial and a diamond-set stainless steel bezel. The last one is the most captivating, featuring a rose gold case and diamond-set bezel, paired with a light blue dial.
