Today, London-based Bamford Watch launched the first "official" watch produced in collaboration with TAG Heuer. This includes some prefabricated designs and allows people to design their own custom programs. Last month, aBlogtoWatch announced that Bamford is no longer working with Rolex watches, but focused on such LVMH watch brands as Zenith, Bulgari and TAG Heuer. Now, Bamford is the first official timepiece produced by an authorized dealer and retoucher of the TAG Heuer watch - and there are already quite a few varieties (and expected pricing).
Bamford's main strengths (besides stimulating some conservative watch purists) are adopting classic designs and making them more fashionable. Bamford's expertise in case coating and dial modification has made the company even more special - and they serve many of the interior watches. Interestingly, think about how TAG Heuer can best use the cooperation with Bamford. Being the subject of an expensive art project (which is more or less the subject of personalization/customized watches I think) undoubtedly provides TAG Heuer with an opportunity for brand promotion. The 39 mm wide shell is much larger than this number, so the Bamford version is like other Monaco.
