Breitling SuperoceanHéritage II chronograph 44 appearance watch
For perfect reasons, the ambassador announced that it rarely caught the attention of the audience, but when the brand partnership was completed correctly, and for legitimate reasons, everyone would get something from it - including watch fans. Fortunately, Breitling's recently assembled "Surfer Squad" unexpectedly fell into the next camp, at least in my book, the new Superocean Heritage II Chronograph 44 Outerknown watch debuted. Now, please remember that this is not a brand new watch - it just adds a new dial and sustainable twist to the existing internal Superocean II that we covered during Baselworld this year, in the form of recycled nylon 'Econyl' NATO due to Breitling Squad member Kelly Slater's marine protection activities are neatly matched, so the strap.
Of course, this is not the first time we have seen a watchband made of recycled materials in the watch field. Earlier this year, Oris released the Diver Sixty Five (released with the Beach Cleanup Program), a strap woven from the exclusive new material r-Radyarn, made from recycled polymer after consumption. But this Breitling-Outerknown watch and this special new strap will be launched through Breitling's new "Surfer Squad" - three brand ambassadors launched by the new CEO Georges Kern in the first few months of Breitling's tenure, including This includes Australian surfers Stephanie Gilmore and Sally Fitzgibbons; but it includes 11 World Surfing League champions Kelly Slater, which has already produced this collaboration.discounted Franck Muller replica Watches

Bremont Supersonic Limited Edition-6

Look, Slater co-founded Outerknown in 2015 with the prolific menswear designer John Moore, who created a menswear brand dedicated to marine protection while using as much environmentally friendly manufacturing methods as possible - including regenerative fishing nets. Old nylon excess products such as flannel shirts, Levi's jackets and shorts. Therefore, it is not surprising that the clothing brand's commitment to sustainable manufacturing not only creates protection for natural resources, but also produces watch-specific accessories - we are like this.
Before we dive into the watch itself, we see a brand that gets rid of the traditional way of sailing partnerships (nautical, professional divers, etc.) and enters the World Surfing Federation - which may be an unknown area for many Swiss watch brands. TAG Heuer has been a major brand since the beginning of the year, breaking into the surfing world. In addition to Outerknown's collaboration, Breitling (and Outerknown) is now supporting the Marine Conservation Society, whose brand's Triathlon Group has just announced a partnership with Qhubeka, a South African charity that provides bicycles to poor communities. Admittedly, these three efforts are a larger philanthropy and a larger pie, but the real good intention seems to be at the heart of the new ambassador structure of Breitling.
As mentioned above, the Superocean II Outerknown has been added with a scratch-resistant black DLC-coated stainless steel case and a deep blue sun dial based on the style introduced earlier this year - both colors are indicated by a striped nylon strap, the brand is the outer shell Outerknown "OK" sign above 12 o'clock. During a brief period of wear, our David (photographed at a press conference in London) found that the regenerated nylon strap itself was very soft to the touch, in stark contrast to many too stiff, thin and abrasive NATO. A strap that seems to be very popular recently (looking at you, all). But perhaps the best detail of the strap itself is that it doesn't have anything about it to recycle it - it's just a comfortable, well-made, forward-thinking alternative with no shortcomings, and we're happy to be in the future. Only when you look at it from a close distance can you see plastic materials made from tough fishing nets. It doesn't look worse than your conventionally woven NATO - and, if any, feels softer and better with touch and wear.RICHARD MILLE RM 11-02 CERAMIC replica Watch for sale
On paper, the watch itself has all the same dimensions of the current SOII: a 44 mm stainless steel case with a chronograph movement based on the Valjoux / ETA 7750 and a day/date aperture of 3 points. Breitling is quite good at minimizing the thickness of the case on these 7750 parts, which is a well-known thick base movement, although the strap is much taller and the strap is under the wrist. The real test of this setup is how the recycled strap can support such a large and heavy head. We found that the fabric is soft and comfortable for fit, and proved to be comfortable enough to wear - even if the watch does so "flip" a bit or so, not completely Lying flat on the wrist. Those who like to wear a watch on a NATO belt will know (and don't mind) this.
Nearly three-quarters of the nets and fishing gear are abandoned in the ocean each year, some of which are upgraded into cheap bracelets, sunglasses, skateboards and other environmentally friendly toys and household items, but this is the first time we have seen the recycling network. Spinning a strap - especially for luxury watch brands. This may be a simple innovation, but it's a long-awaited innovation - in an industry that is full of passive, feeling good 'looseness' as a standard of good deeds, it's nice to see large mouthpieces like Breitling and Others are beginning to brand these meaningful types of initiatives. The new Superocean II Outerknown is not entirely a surprise - Breitling suggests on their collaboration page that specific products that share Outerknown's mission will be released before the end of the year, but hopefully more products are being prepared.
Bremont Supersonic Limited Edition Watch
On October 24, 2003, British Airways withdrew from the legendary Concorde, marking the end of the era of airline passengers flying over the Earth at speeds of more than Mach 2 or twice the speed of sound. For some people, from the beginning of transportation, we seem to have taken a solid step backwards, but it has not been forgotten. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the legendary aircraft, Bremont released their latest limited-edition - Bremont Supersonic watch, which incorporates the metal of the actual aircraft.luxury HUBLOT CLASSIC FUSION AEROFUSION replica Watches
The brand is no stranger to the historical theme limited edition, but in my opinion, Bremont always brings something interesting. This special watch features a 43 mm case with Bremont's first hand-wound movement, 8 days of power reserve and a 12 o'clock dial. Bremont hopes to capture the feeling of the 1970s through supersonic speed. They chose a sunburst silver dial and referenced the highly reflective paint used by the aircraft itself. This type of paint is necessary because extremely high temperatures result in flying at such high altitudes. The blue pointer (steel version) represents the classic British Airways Blue, and the small dial at 6 o'clock consists of the subtle contours of the aircraft.
One of the most notable aspects of Bremont's release of this release is the integration of a portion of the aircraft itself into the watch. If you remember, there have been several such examples in the Bremont catalog, such as the Br emont 1918 Limited Edition Chronograph GMT. In supersonic speed, the metal from B-BOAB Concorde (or Alpha Bravo) is integrated into the watch as an engraved aluminum ring around the movement, visible through the back of the sapphire display. In addition, the bridge of the movement is designed to refer to the delta wing shape of the Concorde.
On the one hand, the Concorde looks like an idyllic futuristic idea, and it is hard to believe that these planes will be on the sky for the first time nearly 50 years ago. I think idealism makes them a good candidate to commemorate brands like Bremont in this way. In doing so, I believe this brand has created a very interesting timepiece - their first hand-wound watch, with 8 days of power reserve, and an elegant, retro-style aesthetic.
Personally, I find it interesting that Bremont can regularly incorporate materials from historic aircraft into their watches - my favorite is the Bremont DH-88, which uses some spruce on the same plane. Plywood. However, I am sure that this piece will be consistent with Concord fans and watch fans.
