Greubel Forsey GMT Quadruple Tourbillon Review
When I visited Baselworld 2019, I, like all of us, had no idea what the future held. The actual situation prevented us from seeing the most important watch event of the year. Many works haven't even been released yet, and those that have been exposed have only been seen by a few people. So I consider myself very lucky to have this opportunity, even though it was only last year that I owned a Greubel Forsey GMT Quadruple Tourbillon. This piece is gorgeous. In terms of looks and the engineering involved...

GMT timepieces have a long history under the patronage of Greubel Forsey. The last one is the Greubel Forsey GMT Sport watch launched last winter. The article reviewed today was launched during Baselworld 2019. With the continuous breakthrough of brand research and development, single products continue to evolve.

asymmetric case
Those familiar with the work of Greubel Forsey will find the case of the GMT Quadruple Tourbillon already familiar. The 46.5mm case is in yellow gold. replica watches online

The slightly curved case edges are vertically brushed, while the rest of the case is mirror polished. Between 8 and 9 we find the first protrusion. The GMT sapphire disc and globe are visible behind the curved crystal.

The crown on the right side of the case is in the traditional position and the GMT pusher is at about 1 second. The 4 o'clock position and second protrusion match the actual chronograph dial. The crown is engraved with the brand logo. "GMT" is engraved on the hand-stamped background on the button. The time-consuming technique of engraving requires skill and precision.

The watch is fitted with a hand-stitched alligator strap and a white gold deployant clasp with a hand-engraved GF logo medallion.

Multi-screen glasses watch face
The Greubel Forsey GMT Quadruple Tourbillon is truly spectacular. Even someone completely ignorant of horology will be fascinated by this complex mechanism. The original display is not easy to hide under the sleeve.Greubel Forsey Quadruple Tourbillon Platinum

The watch displays hours and minutes on the upper right dial. The hour and minute hands are in polished gold and inlaid with Super-LumiNova. A sector of the subdial houses the 72-hour power reserve, with a screw-in independent indicator dial. Power-reserve hands in polished steel with hand-polished countersunk holes.

The sub-dial at 4 o'clock shows the running seconds in black-treated polished steel and is named "Mean Performance". The red pointer shows GMT in the second time zone. The spectacular globe display on the bottom left of the watch shows the world time in 24 time zones, including day and night indications.

On the back there is a second dial showing world time, with a fixed 24-hour scale (also with day/night indication), and a light-colored disc with DST (summer time) for the 24 cities.

excellent quality
The Greubel Forsey GMT Quadruple Tourbillon replica watches for sale is powered by a new hand-wound movement. The movement consists of 805 parts, including 4 tourbillons linked by spherical differentials.

To achieve the watches we see today, many complex steps are required. The brand's Quad Tourbillon dates back to 2008, with four tourbillons side by side. In 2011, the invention works 2 came out, its tourbillon separated from the position. A mirror structure with a double cage presents the viewer with a view of the top pair of balance springs and the lower pair of fixed wheels. So, from each side of the piece, you have a head and tail view of the cage. The complexity of the mirror structure means that an inverse (mirror) rotation is also required.

Complex in design and extremely finely executed. Considering that each of these elements adds its own error, the 72-hour chronograph power reserve achieved by three rapidly rotating barrels coupled in series is amazing for a power-hungry house. The four tourbillons are divided into two pairs and placed on either side of the GMT blue planet at a 30° angle. Mirrored cages have different rotation speeds. The first cage rotates within a minute. The second upright cage completes a full rotation in four minutes.

So you combine an already technically excellent quadruple tourbillon with a gorgeous GMT wholesale replica watches. The result is a spectacle reserved only for the select few. This amazing show is divided into parts theater structure and decoration parts. The branded "thrown" finish makes watchmaking look simple. We all know (or we have to) it won't be easy. Part of the workload involved is unpaid.

On my small wrist, the Greubel Forsey GMT Quadruple Tourbillon is bulky but beautiful. When thinking about comfortable pieces, I usually stop at 41mm. But somehow the "greatness" (metaphorically) of the piece overwhelms the greatness of the size and weight. Regardless, if you're used to platinum or gold bracelet watches, this won't feel any different. Somehow it just feels right on the wrist.
