URWERK WATCH UR-110 PT PLATINUM BEZEL LIMITED EDITION

URWERK UR-110

The idea behind the design of the replica Urwerk watches UR-110 is to make it easy to check the time when most of the watch is covered by the sleeve. No need to flick your wrist, this timepiece just looks down and goes unnoticed. Perfect for those long meetings or boring conversations.

Check out the "Oil Change" indicator to let you know when to send it in for routine service. This is based on a recommended service cycle of 3-5 years.

"The UR-110 continues URWERK's radical tradition of using orbiting satellite complications to tell time. In the UR-110, the time is always displayed on the right side of the watch." -Urwerk

“The satellites move down a vertical line, graded from 0 to 60 minutes. The UR-110 also features a control panel on the dial side with Day/Night and Oil Change indicators – URWERK’s Service interval display, and small seconds on the subdial." -Urwerk.replica watches for men

Urwerk gives UR-110 one last mission

“While we’re not Urwerk nostalgic, we’re proud to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the 110 collection. It’s a creation that won the Best Design Award at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève; facing evil on Iron Man’s wrist, they is the worst superhero of all; and was on the cover of a major watchmaking magazine when it launched in 2011. It needs one last mission before it slips away, so we're releasing the final UR-110 bakelite. A one-of-a-kind model It will be auctioned on our dedicated website and most of the proceeds will go to the Swiss Red Cross," said the two founders of Urwerk, Felix Baumgartner and Martin Frei, in a joint statement.

As such, the UR-110 will be retired 10 years after its birth — and, in style, represents a worthy cause. The one-off UR-110 Bakelite will be unveiled on the Urwerk website on October 10 at 10:10 am Geneva time.

The UR-110 Bakelite features a titanium case and an original bezel made from bakelite, the star material of the 1900s. As Felix Baumgartner explains: "Bakelite was one of the first high-tech materials ever developed. Its properties were and are multiple and revolutionary. It is insulating and heat-resistant and was present in all Everyday items, from eyeglass frames to radios." good replica watches
