Are you familiar with Porsche Design watches?
Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, born in Stuttgart in 1935 to a family with strong ties to the automotive world, founded Porsche Design in 1972, a watchmaking company driven more by its founder than creative spirit rather than a lucrative business idea. Ferdinand Alexander spent many years as head of design at Porsche and Volkswagen, the car brands founded by his grandfather, where he designed some of the most iconic masterpieces in the sports car world, such as the Porsche 911. Ferdinand Alexander Porsche Design follows a clear design philosophy: optimized functionality. That is, simplifying the shape of the watch without affecting its essence. The first watch he designed revolutionized the watchmaking industry, launching in 1972 the world's first all-black matte watch, both case and bracelet. The dial of this model is inspired by the indicator lights on the dashboard of Porsche sports cars.
Porsche Design began its journey with Orfina, and after 6 years of working with Orfina, decided to bet on IWC Schaffhausen and signed a 20-year cooperation agreement with it. Soon after starting their collaboration, both companies found success, with their first pieces becoming commercial successes. high quality copy watches
In this way, Porsche Design once again revolutionized watchmaking, this time with the first watch with an integrated compass: the Compass Watch. This model is elegant and sporty, with a black or khaki green dial, simple hour markers and a discreet date indicator. As a single decorative element it has two crossed bands, from twelve to six and from three to nine, forming a cross.
Later, in 1980, they achieved another international success with the launch of the first watch with a chronograph and bracelet made entirely of titanium: the Titan Chronograph.
Three years later, they launched another of their most iconic models: the Porsche Design Ocean 2000, a dive watch water-resistant to 2,000 meters (a record for water resistance for a watch at the time), custom-made to order and to technical specifications of the German Federation Republic Navy.
After this successful collaboration, the agreement between IWC Schaffhausen and Porsche Design expired and the two companies decided to part ways. From this moment on, Porsche Design begins its collaboration with Eterna. During this period, two watches stood out: the Indicator in 2004 and the Worldtimer P'6750 in 2007.
The first of these was once again a revolution from an aesthetic and technical point of view, as it introduced an automatic chronograph with digital accumulated hours and minutes, offering a groundbreaking aesthetic. luxury Watches copy
The second watch displays the local time via three central hands and a small vertical window at nine o'clock that displays the reference time over 24 hours.
In 2014, Porsche Design decided not to look for a new stable partner in the Swiss watch market and started manufacturing its own components. The first model produced is the Timepiece No.1 Limited Edition, a sports chronograph whose aesthetics reflect the entire Porsche Design tradition. This was followed by a limited edition chronograph in titanium, which had all the technical and aesthetic features of its twin, except for the black case lining.
Today, Porsche Design has several collections, but all remain true to the spirit in which the brand was born. From the beginning, Ferdinand wanted to transfer to the world of watchmaking the same ideas that had made him successful in the automotive industry: a product with a unified design that reflected a lot of engineering work and stayed away from fleeting fashions.
A special feature of Porsche Design watches is that many straps are made from the same leather found in Porsche vehicle interiors. But its straps and bracelets also come in other materials, such as rubber, fabric, titanium or alligator leather, as shown below on the Porsche Design 1919 Datetimer Eternity Automatic master copy watches.
The Monolithic Actuator is the latest innovation from Porsche Design, which makes all its watches made of titanium and whose case, as its name suggests, is a unique block in which we find the bezel and chronograph pushers. It is among these buttons that we find the most innovative details of the collection. The Monobloc Actuator watch is inspired by the sporty Porsche 911 RSR, and more specifically its mechanical valve technology, including an articulated “rocker” style pusher to control the chronograph. Another unique feature of this collection is the small seconds subdial, which in these models features a small opening at 9 o'clock, which houses a rotating disc with white spoke stripes or with a checkered flag pattern , simply instructing the user to be notified if the watch is working.

Directly inspired by Porsche Design’s iconic 911 race car, the collection is designed to be purer and more elegant, yet still sporty in nature. Porsche Design's first model with flyback function is born in the series, thanks to the brand's first in-house movement, the Werk 01.200, which also received COSC certification. This feature allows the user to measure consecutive time intervals as the chronograph resets and restarts without having to stop the chronograph first, simply pressing the button once will cause the chronograph to restart. This is ideal for automotive events where car lap times must be recorded as accurately as possible. richard mille Sapphire copy
In the series, Porsche presents its latest model, the 1919 Chronotimer Flyback Blue & Leather, which contains the traditional features of the 1919 model but in an attractive blue color. This model includes a chronograph without tachymeter scale, the classic Porsche Design small seconds dial (which we covered in the overall section), a flyback function, and a COSC certificate.

The collection pays homage to the first titanium chronograph created by Porsche Design, while also featuring a sporty design in keeping with the brand’s history. The Chronotimer watch is characterized by its extremely simple dial, which strives to be easy to read. One of the surprising details on some of these models is the smoked sapphire back mirror, which reveals the watch’s movement. The bezel of all Chronotimer replica mens watches is equipped with chronograph and tachymeter functions. For those unfamiliar with this feature, a tachometer is a digital scale that measures average speed based on distance traveled.
