The large sapphire crystal case has been a consistent design element of the Jacob & Co. Astronomia collection since the launch of the first Astronomia in 2014. The transparency of the case allows the movement of the gravity triaxial tourbillon to be clearly visible from multiple angles. In the spirit of continuous improvement, the Astronomia Flawless has enhanced transparency through the use of the Astronomia Flawless's monolithic sapphire crystal case. To achieve this look, many parts of the collection, previously made of precious metals, are now made of sapphire crystal.
