Cristiano Ronaldo and his watches for Jacob & Co: CR7 Flight and CR7 Heart
On the occasion of the opening of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Ronaldo and Jacob & Co jointly launched two red and green watch series.
Cristiano Ronaldo cannot avoid being in the news. Ahead of his arrival in Qatar for the 2022 World Cup and his departure from Manchester United following a recent interview with Piers Morgan, the Portugal star took to Instagram to reveal his first collaboration with Jacob & Co. The collection with the famous watchmaker American, founded in 1986, consists of two different models with Portuguese colorways.
Cristiano Ronaldo, a big fan of watches and already owning several Jacob & Co models, made no secret of his delight when he showed images of the chronographs he has created with the renowned company: “I am delighted to announce the partnership with Jacob & Co. Co, one of the leaders in watchmaking". An Instagram post led us to the discovery of two watches, the first in red, black and gold, and the second in green, black and gray. The two pieces, named Flight of CR7 and Heart of CR7 respectively, come in baguette versions with an integrated crystal in the crown.
The Jacob & Co x CR7 Epic X series features a skeletonized JCAM45 movement with a balance wheel at 6 o'clock and a large football-shaped barrel at 12 o'clock. The X-case has been given new impetus by elongating the center, softening the bezel and reinforcing the X-shaped lugs to fit perfectly on the bracelet. Inside the watch, numerous details related to the famous number 7 have been added, including the silhouette of his iconic goal against Manchester United in the 2012-2013 UEFA Champions League round of 16.
