Fit for a Rally Champion: Richard Mille RM67-02 Extra Flat Sebastien Ogier
For two decades, Richard Mille has been showing the watch world that almost avant-garde watch design is not necessarily a refined piece, meant to live in peace. On the other hand, these designs require almost everyone in the immediate area to be visible on the wrist. Even ones with muted tones like the Richard Mille RM67-02 Extra Flat Sebastien Ogier.
The RM67-02 series originated from the RM67-01, which debuted in 2016. The -02 release happened a year later in 2017. Two versions were released at the time – the Sprint and the High Jump. Since these both launched sport versions of the RM67-01, it makes sense that the designs pay homage to athletes at the pinnacle of their game. After these initial versions, there were models produced for the medal-winning alpine ski racer, the world champion tennis player, and then the French rally champion Sebastien Ogier.
The Richard Mille RM67-02 Extra Flat Sebastien Ogier's design - like any Richard Mille replica watches for sale - is a sight to behold. While you may initially see this case as "just another" carbon fiber invention, realize there's more here. The official name of the material is Carbon TPT. Here, alternating layers of carbon fiber are laid down and fixed with resin (sometimes colored, but here it is dark). This process forms the top and bottom plates of the case, as well as the strap that forms the central part. The resulting structure is thin (in this case 7.5mm thick) while still being surprisingly strong.
The case itself features eight pentagonal fasteners, another hallmark of the brand, and the raised sides of the case help create structure and provide additional protection for the movement. While the patterns on the case are certainly eye-catching, they are more like the wide frame of the movement beneath the sapphire crystal.
While the case material and design get the most attention, so does the movement. The CRMA7 movement is an automatic movement, a derivative of the CRMA6. The main difference between the two is that the CRMA7 lacks a crown position indicator. Still, you have a baseplate and bridges made of grade 5 titanium, PVD-treated and creating the webbed superstructure that you can see.Wholesale replica watch
Flip the watch over and you'll see a skeletonized rotor made from the same carbon fiber TPT as the case. While it's strong and light, that doesn't exactly qualify for efficient winding. To solve this problem, Richard Mille placed a platinum section on the edge of the rotor to increase the rotating weight.
Turn the watch over and you'll notice a nod to the main color right in the center of the watch. Blue, white and red, of course the colors of the French flag, add a subtly bold pop of color to the mix. This also allows the color palette to expand to the rest of the watch, the red strap on the white gold crown, the white for the luminescent dots and hands, and the blue strap on the watch.
In many ways, Richard Mille replica is unique. Still, that doesn't mean you won't find a watch that can achieve some of the same tones, albeit in a different form factor. The first thing we'll probably point you to is the Zenith Defy Zero G "Gravity Control." The case may not be as exotic as the RM, but the movement is definitely worth a second look. It might - at first glance - look like a tourbillon, but there's something else going on here. Here, the regulator is housed in a gyroscope so it's always vertical, ostensibly counteracting the effects of gravity. It's an engineering feat worthy of pulling out a magnifying glass.
Another magnifying glass you'll need is the MB&F Legacy Machine Perpetual. MB&F did not focus on the new element of the movement like Zenith, but pursued the classic watchmaking technique-perpetual calendar. Again, the movement was built from the ground up to make everything work and be as user-friendly as possible. While a perpetual calendar is usually a more conservative design, this one shows what watch designers can do when they're given a blank slate and free to create.Maurice Lacroix replica
To us, the Richard Mille RM67-02 Extra Flat Sebastien Ogier feels like a tale of two siblings. This was the case with the first brother, where Richard Mille usually commands all the attention thanks to the use of materials and (often) bold colors. In this analogy, the sometimes overlooked quieter sibling is movement. While it can fade into the background in a color that matches the case, it's there to do its job quietly, and is more than happy to show off how it does it through the sapphire crystal, if one takes the time to peruse the carbon construction.
Just as the case and movement of the Richard Mille RM67-02 Extra Flat Sebastien Ogier contrast, so does the overall design of the luxury replica watches. From the plan photo it looks blocky and oversized. See it on your wrist and you'll quickly realize there's something else going on. As we mentioned, it's very thin (7.5mm) and measures 38mm x 47mm, making it a fairly compact watch. All of this certainly makes up for an ultralight watch that will be more than happy to bolt with you on twisty dirt roads. If your co-pilot miscommunicates the correct approach speed and turn angle, the watch shouldn't miss a beat.
